Big things are afoot for the men of Veil of Maya.
Not only did they recently reveal the title and May 12 release date for new album Matriarch, but they also dropped a video for its track “Mikasa.”
The three-minute clip is also the first footage of the band with new frontman Lukas Magyar, who joined Veil of Maya earlier this year.
Magyar uses both guttural and clean vocals in “Mikasa,” which is a new thing for the Chicago-based death core outfit. But as with any Veil of Maya song, the riffage is top-notch.
