In light of last week’s release of latest album VII: Sturm Und Drang, Lamb of God put out a new video for the track “Overlord.”
The single might be the most unique on the record, as it features clean lyrics from vocalist Randy Blythe and begins with a slower, more understated tempo.
As for the Jorge Torres-Torres-directed clip, the theme of self-absorption is considered, as a male and female character seem to be too caught up in their own lives that they miss everything going on around them. Entranced by their phones while walking around the streets, they bump into each other and snap out of it, only to begin fighting that leads to a tragic fate.
