Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel may now boast his own world-class Jackson signature models, but back in the day, his first $42 guitar was not exactly much to brag about.
There was a lot of pride though in owning the instrument as he worked hard saving money from his newspaper delivery route to purchase the guitar.
