Total Guitar magazine’s June 2021 issue includes a 4.5 out of 5-star rave review of the new Jackson JS Series JS24 DKAM, calling it a “budget speed machine for tomorrow’s shredder.”

Available in Black Stain or Red Stain, this entry-level guitar earned 5 stars for playability, making it the ideal fit for a formative and comfortable journey into high-performance.

“The neck profile is described as ‘speed neck’ and it’s a slip of a thing, satin-smooth and bolted to the body,” TG wrote.  “The JS24’s neck extends its go-faster feel via a 12”-16” compound radius fingerboard.”

The instrument also delivers in sound versatility, with a pair of high-output volcanic Jackson pickup.

“These Jackson pickups have enough juice to see you through on your Master of Puppets tab book, but upgrading them would make the JS24 a keeper for years to come,” noted the reviewer.

Keeping the price point down, this instrument is also outfitted with an easy-to-use two-point fulcrum tremolo.

“This stable and tidily engineered vibrato is nonetheless perfect for learning whammy bar techniques without the fall off balancing the unit,” explained the magazine. “That’s just what you need when learning; more time playing. “

In summary, TG claimed that “This little Dinky is just the thing to get your chops up, to express yourself at any tempo and to be spectacular.”
