Dramatic guitar bleats and the words “As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to build a fire” greet viewers in the first few seconds of the new video from Brooklyn noise duo Sleigh Bells for single “It’s Just Us Now.”
The action quickly escalate, cutting to singer Alexis Krauss, first face down in a swimming pool and then later running for her life, while a bandana-wearing Derek Miller appears in a cemetery— all highlighted by the ominous and throbbing track.
