Halford guitarist and longtime Jackson player “Metal” Mike Chlasciak has announced his fall Metal Therapy Clinic Tour 2009—a series of six East Coast guitar workshops at Sam Ash and Guitar Center retail outlets.
At each evening clinic, Chlasciak will present metal playing techniques and discuss his experiences as guitarist for Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford and his own band, Painmuseum. Chlasciak will also be passing out Jackson swag and talking about his new Metal Heroes Music Academy.
“I’m taking my Jackson guitar and my main amp setup,” Chlasciak said. “I’ll play, talk and hang out, simple as that. Hope to see many of you there.”
Metal Therapy Clinic Tour 2009 is a joint venture between Chlasciak’s Metal Heroes Music Academy, Drums Against Disabilities, Sam Ash and Guitar Center.
