Metal axeman Mark Morton from Lamb Of God will be auctioning off his Jackson Mark Morton Signature D2 Dominion guitar that he’ll use at the D-Tox Fest in Montebello, Quebec, which kicks off today. The guitar will be autographed and will come with photographs from the performance and a personal letter of appreciation from Morton. More details on the start date of the auction will be announced soon.

The proceeds will benefit Victory Junction, a camp in Randleman, N.C., for children with chronic medical conditions.

In a statement found on Blabbermouth.net, Morton said, “I can’t put into words how excited I am to be working with Victory Junction. The work they do is astounding. To have the opportunity to contribute to such an incredible cause is nothing short of an honor.”

The axe, which is part of Morton’s personal collection, will be autographed and will include photographs from the concert as well as a personal letter of appreciation.

Victory Junction is a year-round camp for children ages 6 to 16 with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses. Its mission is to provide life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering, in a safe and medically-sound environment. The camp operates solely through the support of generous individuals, groups and corporations to provide this experience at no charge to children and their families.
