The Gus G. led band Firewind has dropped a new single off their upcoming eighth studio album Immortals, due out Jan. 20.
“Hands of Time” will open the effort, and Gus G. calls it “a return to a sound that many of our fans have longed for. Fast, melodic with a big chorus, big production, guitar/keyboard solos and of course great performance by our new singer, Henning Basse.”
Immortals will mark Firewind’s first concept album, and it focuses on the legendary battles of Thermopylae and Salamis during the second Persian invasion of Greece in 480 B.C.
