Sonisphere Festival 2011 concertgoers headbanged to a live performance of new Megadeth material at Knebworth, England, on July 8. The band shredded material from forthcoming album Th1rt3en, scheduled for release in November.
Megadeth considers the title most fitting since it’s the band’s 13th album and because the number 13 is a recurring theme in guitarist/vocalist/frontman Dave Mustaine’s life.
