Trivium frontman Matt Heafy and lead guitarist Corey Beaulieu were interviewed in November’s issue of Guitar World magazine to chat about their album, In Waves.
Beaulieu tells the magazine that their latest effort was truly a collaborative songwriting effort.
“The great thing about our band is we have three people writing songs,” says Beaulieu. “So you end up with this vast variety of ideas coming out.”
The Jackson signature artist also compares the band’s album to their previous releases.
“This time we really listened to each other’s stuff and tried to come up with something that complemented it,” Beaulieu says.
In related news, Trivium recently announced a 2012, co-headlining North American tour with In Flames.
