Strung Out guitarist Jake Kiley is stocked and loaded with his two favorite custom Jackson Soloist guitars for the punk band’s tour in support of latest album Transmission Alpha Delta.

And during a recent stop in Australia, Kiley chatted with Live Music Footage about his touring rig, including his No. 1, a custom Jackson Soloist featuring a mahogany body and neck and Synyster Gates pickups.

“I’m back in love with the Floyd Rose, it’s incredible,” Kiley said. “I’m back in whammy-bar nerd heaven with this thing. It’s awesome. This thing stays in tune so well. I can seriously throw it into the fucking wall and it will be in tune.

“It is honestly the most effective guitar I’ve ever had. It is just incredible.”

Kiley also runs through his No. 2, a Soloist with a custom glow-in-the-dark Pablo Santana design.

“Jackson makes an incredible guitar and I like how a lot guys don’t play them in my scene,” he summed up. “I’m carrying the flag.”
