There was some serious shredding happing in Mesa, Ariz., on St. Patrick’s Day at the Nile Theatre with a show featuring Intronaut, Scale the Summit, North and Nonpareil.
The spring North American tour marks the first in 15 months for Houston, Texas instrumental prog quartet Scale the Summit, and the first in support of 2015’s critically-acclaimed album V.
The Underground room at the Nile fit the band’s evocative and intriguing instrumental sound with its eerie laid-back vibe. Travis LeVrier commanded his custom Jackson Soloist with Seymour Duncan pickups, played through his EVH amp.
