Manraze, the rock trio led by Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen, is prepping for the February release of “Take On The World,” a high-energy rock track that will serve as the theme song for British Superbike racing documentary, The Showdown: I Superbiker II.
The documentary is the sequel to U.K. film director Mark Sloper’s 2010 film, I Superbiker, which depicts the success of Tommy Hill as the 2011 British Superbike racing champion.
Collen recently spoke about the song in an interview with GeeksofDoom.com.
“It’s kind of techno electronic dance music mixed with rock,” he said. “A friend of ours is doing some vocals on it with us, Debbie Blackwell Cook, she’s got this amazing gospel voice. We’re doing our guitar duels, really over the top, it’s great.”
