Manraze Cover Jimi Hendrix’s “Fire”

British rock trio Manraze released a video performance of “Fire,” the classic rock staple from Jimi Hendrix’s 1967 album, Are You Experienced.

The song is included as a cover track on the band’s sophomore album, punkfunkrootsrock, which was released Aug. 2.

“First let us note that the Jimi Hendrix estate gives performance permission very sparingly,” the band wrote on their official YouTube channel.  “The classic release ‘Fire’ has been a staple of Manraze’s live shows since their first London gigs began in 2005. Jimi Hendrix’s three piece band provided the signature blueprint for Manraze as they continued to gain recognition for their cleverly written and arranged infectious reggae/rock rhythms.”
