The video is a combination of live action, digital graphics and 3-D animation shot in eight weeks by U.K. studio Darkside Animation Films, whose team includes animators who have worked on a bunch of high-tech films, including Lost in Space, Gladiator and Black Hawk Down.
“The Final Frontier (Director’s Cut)” is a 5-minute edit of nearly 9-minute-long opus “Satellite 15 … The Final Frontier,” which kicks off Maiden’s 15th studio album, The Final Frontier. This eagerly anticipated CD will be released Aug. 16 (Aug. 17 in North America).
