Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Lamb of God and Megadeth Earn Grammy Nominations

Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Lamb of God and Megadeth are among the nominees for a 2013 Grammy Award in the category for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.

Anthrax was nominated for “I’m Alive” off Worship Music, while Iron Maiden got a nod for “Blood Brothers,” a track off their En Vivo CD/DVD. Lamb of God’s “Ghost Walking” from Resolution earned their mention, and Megadeth landed on the list for “Whose Life (Is It Anyways?” from TH1RT3EN.

Also in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Category is Marilyn Manson for “No Reflection” from Born Villain and Halestorm for “Love Bites (So Do I)” from their full-length effort The Strange Case Of… .

Of all nominees, only Iron Maiden has gone home with a golden Gramophone.

The 55th annual Grammy Awards will take place on Feb. 10, 2013 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The event will be televised on CBS at 8 p.m. (EST).
