Machine Head recently wrapped their “An Evening with Machine Head” European tour with a three-day stint in France, including an especially moving performance at Le Trianon in Paris. The show had originally been scheduled at the Bataclan in Paris, where the November 2015 terrorist attack occurred, taking the life of Eagles of Death Metal merchandiser Nick Alexander.
And with thoughts of the attack and the loss of their colleague in mind, Machine Head broke down several times during their song “Darkness Within.”
Despite the emotional set, the sold-out crowd was elated to be a part of this special three-hour show, which included a performance of “Left Unfinished”—a song the band hasn’t played in nearly a decade.
