Finnish metallers Amoral will make their U.S. debut next month at the South By Southwest Music Festival, right on the heels of the American release of their latest album, Beneath.
The band will play The End Records’ showcase on March 15 at the Red 7 Patio.
Beneath has received positive reviews in The States, as many critics noted that it marks an evolution from the band’s death metal past to something more melodic with hard rock elements.
Amoral has received good news in their homeland, as well, earning several solid placements in the 2011 Finnish Metal Awards. Amoral founder and Jackson artist Ben Varon was voted at No. 5 in the Musician of the Year category, while Beneath was named the fourth-best album.
Varon is also featured on the DVD of the latest issue of the Japanese Young Guitar magazine. Check out the DVD’s trailer by clicking here.
