Lamb of God lead guitarist Mark Morton released a new solo single last week called “Snowbound.”
Morton explores new territory on the track, opting for a more subdued sound that is infused with several melodic influences, and features a guest appearance on drums by Jean-Paul Gaster of Clutch.
Morton shared the song, along with his excitement on Facebook, stating: “Here is sample of some of the new music I’ve been working on. It’s definitely a little different than what you’re used to hearing me do with LAMB. There are some great players involved in this project (including J.P. from CLUTCH on the drums!). I’m having a blast working on this stuff, and that’s what this is all about for me … FUN! I hope you enjoy it!”
Morton is currently on a North American tour with Lamb of God supporting their 2015 release VII: Sturm und Drang. Catch their remaining tour dates here.
